Based in the Eden Valley, Andrew Barbier has been photographing his surroundings for over 40 years.  His photography ranges from landscapes, nature, travel and commissions of interesting buildings. As an experienced mountaineer he has travelled extensively and led expeditions in the British Isles, Greenland, Iceland, The European Alps and Nepal and his striking photography reflects his passion for the outdoors.

 

Andrew’s photographs of the Eden Valley have been used to promote Skirwith Hall Cottages.  He has also exhibited and sold photographs at the Langwathby Art Mart for the last 8 years.  Andrew's work is currently being featured on the visual arstists page of the BBC website  where you can read a short article and view his own BBC gallery!
